To celebrate the launch of the new Nike x Matthew M. Williams Series 004 collection, Nike, Slam Jam and KALEIDOSCOPE partner up for an art-led activation: “Beyond Movement”. At the core of the project is a challenging, multidimensional take on training, embracing disciplined development of both mind and body; a video reimagines the Nike Training Club App as a space for immersive experiences, suggesting an elevated take on training which takes inspiration from different physical disciplines and even performance art, rather than pure fitness.

The protagonist is London based creative , Nike trainer, movement artist and choreographer Paleta. Framed in a white-cube environment, her movements combine the teachings of yoga with the expressivity of dance, with a special emphasis on breathing and mindfulness.

Paleta’s training session is scored by an exclusive track created by Koo Des, aka NSDOS, a techno musician and choreography researcher based in Paris, and intercut with footage of three Milan-based dancers (Silvia Bonavigo, Peppe D’Andrizza, and Nicole Olke).
